We respect your time and work-life balance. While independent contractors manage their own schedules, the company observes certain holidays where no work is expected.
Company Holidays (Observed)
The company observes the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day + the following Friday
- Christmas Day
- Additional floating holiday(s) at management’s discretion
Note: Contractors are not paid for these holidays but are encouraged to enjoy the time off.
Time Off
- Contractors can take additional time off as needed but should coordinate in advance to ensure project timelines are maintained.
- Submit time-off notifications via [company tool/email], including dates and any handover details.
Sick or Emergency Leave
- We understand emergencies happen. Please notify your manager or point of contact as soon as possible if you are unavailable due to illness or an emergency.
Notes
- Contractors manage their own schedules and compensation, so traditional PTO or holiday pay does not apply.
- Clear communication ensures smooth operations and aligned expectations.
